Yes, that's right... TAP Comics is over. What is this? Am I throwing in the towel and giving up?

TAP has, from the very start, been a big experiment. First and foremost, it was a way to force me to draw more often. It succeeded big-time, there ^.^ Secondly, it was a way for me to learn how to draw comics. I think I learned quite a bit... though I still have a lot to learn. Lastly, I had once thought that I could play with the big boys and be recognized by my peers... well, that part really didn't happen ^_^;; I'm still a two-bit online comic artist. ^.^'

So, what does this all mean? It means that I'm ready to move on to the next step. The stories I've been telling so far have been sporadic at best. Little to no coherence and almost zero continuity. I want to change that. I want to write a real comic/manga.

Starting tomorrow, I'll be drawing a new comic. A lot of things will be different, though. First off, don't expect a joke a day like I've been doing. I plan on spreading the story out and adding more depth. At first, it will probably seem fairly similar to what I've done so far, but later it will become a lot more involved. This brings me to the second major difference... no Mon/Wed/Fri schedule. Comics will not be released by date. At first I'll just post as soon as I finish a page. Later, I'll post in batches on a weekly basis... Maybe 2-5 pages at a time, depending on complexity. Which brings me to my third difference. I'd like to spend a lot more time on the art.

I guess we'll know how well I can stick to this over the next few months. So, please drop by on the 21st, TAP's 2nd anniversary, and have a look at the new strip. I hope you'll like it ^.^
